I love Doctor Who. I remember seeing it on Public Television when I was a kid, but really got into it when I was in high school. I have novelizations, a Dalek model, anniversary commemorative books, and know far more about it than anyone ought to know about a TV show. My favorite Doctor was David Tennant. He’s played Hamlet. He’s won awards. He was in Harry Potter. Imagine my surprise when I found this:
For someone who has dealt with depression and impostor system, seeing that someone so successful deals with the same things is honestly refreshing.
This month has been really tough for me, writing wise. I’ve been behind on pretty much everything, including the blog, which sucks. But, July is Camp Nano, which I think I can use to motivate myself to get some writing and editing done.
This month has been an exercise in 25%. I’m about 25% of the way through my edits on Corruption of Blood. I’m also about 25% of the way through the scene list for Calling of the Sun. I’m also starting to work on the next book in the Blake Heira series, current title unknown. I know it’s only June, but November will be here before I know it. This book has a concept I’m really excited about, so I want to do it justice. I’m still planning on continuing my series on Creating Magic Systems. I’m not sure how easily I can do all that, but we’ll see how it goes.
And that’s all for now. I’ll see you next week!
It sounds like a lot to accomplish, but where there’s a Willers, there’s a way! Keep up the good work!
So true. I know all of us in the local writer’s groups have struggled, but I hadn’t seen this. Wow, even David F-ing Tennant struggles with this. Thanks for sharing.
