It has been a long time since I’ve written or updated my web site. I’m going to commit myself to updating this blog every Sunday. I need to be more consistent when it comes to writing if I’m going to be successful. Part of that is reaching out to you every week to let you know what is going on. Another part is updating this site with more world information. My goal is to eventually have my entire world posted here so people can more readily interact with everything. This is still a part time thing for me, but that doesn’t mean I should go almost a year between posts.
I’ve been reading a lot and editing Illusion of Truth, the second novel in my series. I’ve also written a novella called Leviathan’s Creed. This will be published in an anthology with two of the people in the Saturday Writers club. The anthology will be called Changeling Ward. I’ll post something here when it’s out.
My novella, Leviathan’s Creed, is a short adventure starring Blake Heira. When he is called out to a ship in distress, he finds three bodies and the passengers on the brink of mutiny. Can Blake find the murderer before they lose control of the ship?
Cheryl Corbin writes fantasy with a magic system that I just love. She’s got a few fantasy books out, but also some romance. Her short story is about babies going missing in a cluster of villages. It’s intense, as she taps into a parent’s worst nightmare.
Rachel Eliason writes fantasy, science fiction, and young adult. Her novel Mage Chronicles is an epic science fantasy story. The story in the anthology is about a former soldier hired to protect a noble’s daughter. Getting on board an air ship, he recognizes his formal commander, a man he knows is guilty of terrible war crimes. When people start dying, how will be protect his charge?
My editor has been hard at work on Illusion of Truth. I had hoped that it would be out by now, but there have been several delays out of out control. In the meantime, I’m still working on the first draft of Corruption of Blood, Book 3 in the Blake Heira series.
I’m working on the Religions of Spheryl, and have posted a new page on Myril, God of the Sun, Destroyer of the Forces of Darkness. I’ll post information on each Church in the Pantheism religion until they are all there. From there, I’ll see where we go. I might do a poll to see what people are interested in and go from there.
See you next week!
